October 30 to November 1, 2026 at Cottonwood Park. Live music, an ICS sanctioned chili cook-off, a classic car show, the birthday parade, bed races, cornhole, a pet parade, a desert art contest, and a lot of small-town fun.

A small town throws a big party

Beatty Days is our town's birthday celebration, and everybody is invited. Over the weekend you'll find live music and entertainment, an ICS sanctioned chili cook-off, the 'Still Cruisin' Classic Car Show, a poker walk, old west shoot outs, the town birthday parade, bed races, cornhole tournaments for kids and adults, a pet parade, chicken drop bingo, a raffle, model railroad displays, and the Aaron Huisman Desert Art Contest.

Everything is centered on Cottonwood Park at the corner of 3rd Street and Amargosa Street, with a few events at the Middle School, the upper and lower parks, and the Community Center. Full details for each event are on the flyers linked below.

22nd Annual ICS Sanctioned Chili Cook-Off. This is a regional cook-off and the winner advances to the World Chili Cook-Off. Must be an ICS member, entries through chilicookoff.com.

Miss Beatty 2026

Open to contestants in 9th through 12th grade (previous winners may not participate again). Each contestant writes a one-page historical essay about Beatty, from 1900 to present, and sells Beatty Days raffle tickets. Final score is 60% essay and 40% ticket sales. Reward offered: $250.

Open to contestants in 6th through 8th grade (previous winners may not participate again). Same essay and raffle ticket format as Miss Beatty. Reward offered: $150.
