Desert Art Contest Display Begins
The 9th Annual Aaron Huisman Desert Art Contest opens for viewing. Painting/drawing and sculpture categories, celebrating the desert landscape of rural Nevada.
Adult Cornhole Sign-Ups Open
The 6th Annual Cornhole Toss Tournament takes sign-ups from Friday through 2pm Saturday. Blind draw teams, double elimination, ages 13 and up.
Beatty's 122nd Birthday Parade
Line up at 8:30am in front of the Middle School on 4th Street. Check in by 9:30am for a number and category. No throwing candy from the parade route.
ICS Chili Cook-Off (Red Chili & Chili Verde)
22nd Annual ICS Sanctioned Chili Cook-Off. This is a regional cook-off and the winner advances to the World Chili Cook-Off. Must be an ICS member, entries through chilicookoff.com.
'Still Cruisin' Classic Car Show
Categories from original and modified originals to hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, sports cars, trucks, and rat rods. Best in Show is $500 and a trophy.
Beatty Bed Races
Teams push decorated beds down the race course. Prizes for best time and best decorated bed. Sponsor yourself or find a business to sponsor you.
Desert Art Contest Display & Awards
Winners announced at the Upper Park Stage. Awards for adults, youth 12-17, and youth 5-11 in painting/drawing and sculpture.
Cornhole Toss Tournament (Adult)
6th Annual Cornhole Toss Tournament. Blind draw teams, double elimination, ages 13 and up. 1st place $400, 2nd place $300, 3rd place $200.
Halloween Trunk-or-Treat
Bring your candy. All participants receive a goody bag, a T-shirt coupon, and a raffle ticket. Special award for Best Halloween Decorated Car at the car show.

9th Annual 2nd Heat. Same regional cook-off, second round of judging. Must be an ICS member, entries through chilicookoff.com.
Kids Cornhole Toss
Two-person teams, ages 5-12. Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Pet Parade
Grab your leash and bring your pet. Bring them to the registration booth, then back by 10:45am for line up. Ribbons and trophies for pets.
Tombstone 5K Run & 2K Walk
All terrain course of pavement, dirt, and quad trail. Guys and gals categories, four age groups. Each runner gets a T-shirt and a drink token. 10% of registration fees benefit the BVFD.
